Federally Recognized Tribes Extension Program: The purpose of this program is to establish an Extension presence and support Extension outreach on Federally Recognized Indian Reservations and Tribal jurisdictions of Federally-Recognized Tribes. The Federally Recognized Tribes Extension program is eligible to 1862's, 1890's and 1994's. Applicants for the FRTEP must meet all the requirements discussed in this RFA. Failure to meet the eligibility criteria by the application deadline may result in exclusion from consideration or, preclude NIFA from making an award.
