Fiscal Year 2005 Request for Proposals (RFP) for SUPPORT OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY TARGETED WATERSHED PILOT GRANTS PROGRAM: Grants awarded under this RFP will involve Geospatial Information. The EPA Chesapeake Bay Program Office plans to award one cooperative agreement to an intermediary organization that will manage the Chesapeake Bay Targeted Watershed Pilot Grant Program. Through this RFP, EPA seeks to identify an organization with a mission to support watersheds in their efforts to reduce excessive nutrients and encourage more cost effective approaches through public-private partnerships and market-based approaches within the Chesapeake Bay basin. EPA will develop a cooperative agreement with the selected organization to advertise for proposals, select subgrantees, oversee and provide technical support to subgrantees, monitor subgrants for completion of projects, and report on results and lessons learned.
