Fiscal Year 2025 Presidential Residence Protection Assistance (PRPA) Grant Program: In accordance with Section 90006 of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (Pub. L. No. 119-21), the Presidential Residence Protrection Assistance (PRPA) Grant Program provides federal funding for the reimbursement of extraordinary law enforcement personnel costs for protection activities directly and demonstrably associated with any residence of the President designated pursuant to section 3 or 4 of the Presidential Protection Assistance Act of 1976 (Public Law 94–524; 18 U.S.C. § 3056 note) to be secured by the United States Secret Service. The PRPA Grant Program ensures that state and local law enforcement agencies are not unduly burdened by the additional responsibilities and expenses required to safeguard presidential residences, as directed by the Secret Service.
