Genome-wide Association Studies of Treatment Response in Randomized Clinical Trials - Coordinating Center (U01): -Purpose. The purpose of this funding opportunity is to support a Coordinating Center (CC) to serve as a centralized resource to facilitate and support genome-wide association (GWA) studies in randomized controlled clinical trials to identify genetic variants associated with response to treatments for conditions of clinical or public health significance. -Mechanism of Support. This FOA will utilize the U01 Cooperative Agreement grant mechanism. -Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards. The total amount of funding to be awarded through this FOA is $3.7 million; it is anticipated that 1 award will be made under this announcement.
