Great Lakes Biology Monitoring Program: Phytoplankton and Chlorophyll-a Components: The GLRI builds on the prior efforts of federal, state, and local agencies; Indian tribes; businesses; public interest groups; interested citizens; and others to develop a collaborative and comprehensive approach to restoring the Great Lakes. Information about the Initiative can be found at GLRI.us.This RFA solicits applications from eligible entities for a cooperative agreement to be awarded pursuant to the statutory authorities referenced above and the GLRI Action Plan III. Up to $3,000,000 may be awarded under this RFA over approximately five years, consisting of incremental funding of about $600,000 per year, contingent on the quality of applications received, funding availability, future appropriations, satisfactory performance of work, and other applicable considerations.
