HEAL Initiative: Integrative Management of chronic Pain and OUD for Whole Recovery (IMPOWR): Coordination and Dissemination Center (R24 Clinical Trial Optional): The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to establish a Integrative Management of chronic Pain and OUD for Whole Recovery (IMPOWR) network consisting of clinical research centers, which will be supported by a single Coordination and Dissemination center. This network is intended to create multidisciplinary team science collaborations to develop effective interventions, best models of care for delivery of services, and sustainable implementation strategies for access to quality care for complex patients with chronic pain (CP) and opioid use disorder (OUD) or opioid misuse. The network will be part of the NIHs Helping to End Addiction Long-term (HEAL)SM Initiative to speed the development and implementation of scientific solutions to the national opioid public health crisis.
