Hazard Assessment and Monitoring of Aleutian Arc Volcanoes: This is a notice of intent to award a cooperative agreement to the State of Alaska, Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys (ADGGS), in support of a project entitled "Hazard Assessment and Monitoring of Aleutian Arc Volcanoes". The main objective of this agreement is the continued geologic mapping studies and volcanic hazard assessments of select volcanoes in the Aleutian Arc. The ADGGS is a long standing partner in the Alaska Volcano Observatory and has 31 years years of experience in monitoring Alaska volcanoes. With staff expertise in physical volcanology; petrology, geophysics, geochemistry and a record of eruption response and specific familiarity with Alaskan volcanoes and state and locate emergency responders.
