Health Policy Plus (HP ): The purpose of the Health Policy Plus (HP+) project is to improve the enabling environment for equitable and sustainable health services, supplies and delivery systems through policy development and implementation, with an emphasis on family planning and reproductive health (FP/RH), maternal and child health (MCH), and HIV and AIDS. It is expected that work across health policy, advocacy, financing, and governance, in a highly coordinated and collaborative approach and with attention to gender equality and equity issues, will be required to achieve the project purpose. This project will leverage previous USG investments in the areas of policy, advocacy, financing, and governance, preserve the progress made to date, and ensure progression toward stated objectives.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications for a Cooperative Agreement from eligible U.S. based non-profit Nongovernmental Organizations (NGOs), for profit NGOs, private voluntary organizations (PVOs), Institutions of Higher Education/Universities and Non-US Nongovernmental International Organizations for a program entitled “Health Policy Plus (HP+).” USAID strongly encourages applicants to propose creative collaborative partnerships with other U.S. and/or international organizations, Nongovernmental Organizations (NGOs), private voluntary organizations, and firms, especially small businesses, to implement activities under this program. The authority for the RFA is found in the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, as amended. Please see Section III "Eligibility Information" for more specifics on eligiblity.
