Holland Creek Culvert Replacement, Lane County, Oregon: This project will provide for unrestricted upstream movement of Steelhead salmon in the Holland Creek area. The existing culvert is undersized, is placed such that it disrupts the natural stream flow and is a constant maintenance issue. A new arch culvert will greatly improve fish passage into a high quality spawning habitat area. This will improve fish production and lessen annual maintenance costs. It will directly benefit migrating fish and will increase populations of Chinook and Coho salmon for commercial fishing and sport fishing purposes as well as aquatic ecosystem health in the Holland Creek watershed.
