Human Rights Public Policy Activity: Through this Activity, USAID will support the implementation of the Government of Mexico (GOM) National Human Rights Plan (NHRP)which describes six objectives and the respective lines of action to pursue strengthening the GOM human rights policy: 1) implement the Constitutional human rights reform; 2) prevent human rights violations; 3) guarantee basic human rights for all; 4) strengthen the protection of human rights; 5) institutionalize engagement with GOM entities, state authorities and CSOs; and 6) generate information to analyze and evaluate the protection of human rights.
