Hunter Recruitment, Retention, and Reactivation activities with the PPJV: Funds provided in this agreement will further our relationship with a conservation organization to expand efforts to recruit, retain, and reactivate hunters. Efforts will directly or indirectly create or expand upland gamebird hunting opportunities through habitat conservation, knowledge and skills development, and events. Specifically, funds will be used to host a minimum of five Hunter Mentor Training events in the following states: South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Montana and Iowa; host one Focus on Forever Workshop; initiate four Conservationist Clubs; develop and launch an event management system that will allow for participant tracking and adaptive program evaluation; develop and launch a Hunter Mentor database that will allow interested hunters the opportunity to locate trained mentors within a geographic area; host two Shooting Sports Clinics; and host a minimum of six Learn-to-Upland Bird Hunt events within the PPJV geographic area for underserved audiences.
