IDeA Regional Entrepreneurship Development (I-RED) Program (STTR) (UT2 Clinical Trial Not Allowed): The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to provide opportunities for eligible U.S. small business concerns (SBCs), together with academic partners, in each of the four regions of the Institutional Development Award (IDeA)-eligible states, to apply forIDeA Regional Entrepreneurship Development (I-RED) program awards that support the development of educational products to promote biomedical entrepreneurship in IDeA states. These educational products are expected to address the needs of IDeA state academic institutions in developing and/or strengthening technology transfer programs that stimulate technological innovation and the needs of IDeA state investigators in translating scientific discoveries and technologies from research laboratories into commercial products that improve human health and promote economic growth in IDeA states.
