Improving Delivery of HIV Prevention and Treatment through Implementation Science and Translational Research (R21): This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) encourages research designed to increase the public health impact of efficacious HIV/AIDS-related interventions for prevention and treatment. To maximize the public health impact of available interventions, significant progress is needed to advance science designed to get interventions to the men, women, and children who need them. The goals of this scientific agenda are to learn how best to deliver interventions more efficiently and effectively in real-world communities and clinics, to more readily transfer interventions from one setting or population to another, and to make better-informed choices for combination intervention packages.
