Interns to Provide Educational Programs at Death Valley NP: A. Project Goals Interns will work with NPS staff to facilitate the mission of the NPS by protecting resources and enhancing visitor enjoyment by providing orientation and information about Death Valley National Park to the visitingpublic. B. Project Objectives Interns will work with park staff to offer educational programs to local community members and general visiting public on natural and historic resource topics in Death Valley National Park. Throughout the internship, participants will contact over 20,000 people to improve recreational access and safety for park visitors. In a collaborative effort between NPS and the inters, they will assist in developing educational programs, content, and locations for programs to be given.
