Jail Mental Health Officer Master Trainer Course: The Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) will work collaboratively with the National Institute of Corrections (NIC) to develop curriculum for the 40 hour instructor led Jail Mental Health Officer Master Trainer training course. This curriculum is based on the Jail Mental Health Officer training course and the Advanced Instructor course to provide both foundational knowledge and skills to improve individual job performance, as well as targeted practical advice and solutions, addressing specific issues faced by correction institutions in Texas.
