Kosovo Legal Profession (KLP) Program: The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), through Regional Service Center, Regional Contracting Office in Budapest is seeking applications from qualified U.S Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) for a cooperative agreement to fund a project entitled 'Kosovo Legal Profession'(KLP) Program. The authority for the RFA is found in the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, as amended. The overarching purpose of the new USAID 'Kosovo Legal Profession' (KLP) Program is to support an increase in quality for the legal education and the development of a capable and well-regulated legal profession in Kosovo. The new program will build on the progress achieved by the current Kosovo Legal Development Initiative Program (LPDI) Program and focuses on new challenges for the legal profession and legal education areas. Please do not contact USAID/Kosovo. All communication must be through Regional Service Center, Regional Contracting Office in Budapest. Any questions concerning this RFA should be submitted in writing to Mr. Clement J. Bucher, via email to [email protected] and Ms. Esztella Fazekas, via email to [email protected]. The deadline for submission of questions on this RFA is July 15, 2011. Responses to questions will be furnished to all potential applicants through an amendment to this RFA. Issuance of this RFA does not constitute an award commitment on the part of the Government, nor does it commit the Government to pay for costs incurred in the preparation and submission of an application.
