Lead Risk Assessment Demonstration (LRAD): The purpose of this NOFO is to develop a lead-based paint risk assessment demonstration grant program for public housing agencies to conduct lead hazard screens or lead-based paint risk assessments of units in which a family receiving assistance under section 8(o) of the U.S. Housing Act of 1937 (42 U.S.C. 1437f(o)) resides or expects to reside, and has or expects to have a child under age 6 residing in the unit, while preserving rental housing availability and affordability.
