States participating in this program will sign a cooperative agreement with USDA-AMS, which stipulates the terms and conditions. If your State is interested in participating, then the completed application and signed copies of the cooperative agreement should be received by the USDA no later than September 24, 2010. Reimbursement under this program is available to producers or handling operations receiving certification or continuing with certification under the National Organic Program during the period of October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011. States participating in the Agricultural Management Assistance Program may only reimburse handlers under the National Organic Cost Share Program.
