National Pension Technical Assistance Resource Center: Through this funding opportunity, ACL plans to award one (1) cooperative agreement for a National Pension Assistance Resource Center to support ACL's Pension Counseling and Information Program grantees and other potential providers of pension assistance, such as State and Areas Agencies on Aging and legal services providers, by providing substantive legal training, technical assistance, programmatic coordination, and nationwide outreach, information and referral. ACL seeks applications from organizations with a proven record of advising and representing individuals who have been denied employer or union-sponsored retirement income benefits and capacity to deliver national training and technical assistance to ACL's regional pension counseling projects, as well as othe legal and aging service providers in areas of the country not served by a counseling project, on consumer-centric pension counseling including case consultation, legal research, writing, and other legal back-up services.
