Natural Resources Damage Assessment, Restoration and Implementation: To restore natural resources injured by oil spills or hazardous substance releases. This is done by Natural Resource Trustees; seeking and identifying natural resources injured, determining the extent of the injuries, recovering damages from responsible parties, and planning and carrying out natural resource restoration activities.
