Nea Jazz in the Schools: The purpose of this Program Solicitation is to enter into a Cooperative Agreement to develop an educational curriculum on jazz to enhance appreciation for jazz as America's music, build audiences for jazz, and invest in the future of jazz. The successful recipient of the Cooperative Agreement will design, develop, and produce educational materials on jazz for national distribution. The first curricular unit and a plan for the full curriculum must be developed in time for distribution in spring 2005.
