Nttr Big Horned Sheep Study: The Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC) is proposing to continue with a second year of data collection and monitoring of BHS that were initially captured and collared in November 2016 in the Pintwater Range of Nevada. The Air Force would like the NFE to renew a subscription (Jan. 2018 – Jan. 2019) for annual maintenance and data download for each BHS iridium tracking collars of the 21 remaining functional collars (one collar is no longer functional). The NFE will download BHS data from a central satellite tracking website each month for each of the 21 sheep currently collared and will generate a summary report on sheep distribution, movement and migratory patterns for the two year BHS collaring study.
