Nuclear Power Cell:
NSWC Crane is interested in funding research of a long-term, stable, and reliable nuclear power cell and nuclear energy system (power cells stacked together). This proposed research is to further advance research to deliver a steady, scalable, geo-independent, long-lasting energy supply for a wide range of distributed power applications and capable of delivering approximately 15-Watts of constant power.
The amount of resources made available to this BAA will depend on the quality of the proposals received and the availability of funds. The BAA will contain additional information along with instructions for proposal preparation and submission.
