OJJDP FY 20 Mentoring Opportunities for Youth Initiative: The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) supports a wide range of mentoring initiatives aimed at preventing and reducing juvenile delinquency. Additional Information on Eligibility: Category 1 (OJJDP-2020-17633): National Mentoring Programs: national organizations, defined as organizations that have active chapters or subawardees in at least 45 states. Category 2 (OJJDP-2020-17634): Multistate Mentoring Programs: multistate organizations, defined as organizations that have operated an established mentoring program for at least 3 years and have active chapters or subawardees in at least 5 states but fewer than 45 states. Category 3 (OJJDP-2020-17636): Mentoring Programs for Youth Involved in the Juvenile Justice System: nonprofit organizations and for-profit organizations (including tribal nonprofit and for-profit organizations and faith-based organizations) that at the time of application have operated a mentoring program for at least 1 year. Category 4 (OJJDP-2020-17637): Mentoring Strategies for Youth Impacted by Opioids and Drug Addiction (Project Sites): nonprofit organizations and for-profit organizations (including tribal nonprofit and for-profit organizations and faith-based organizations) that at the time of application have operated a mentoring program for at least 1 year. Category 5 (OJJDP-2020-17638): Statewide and Regional Mentoring Initiative for Youth Impacted by Opioids and Drug Addiction: national organizations (as defined in Category 1), states and territories, federally recognized tribal governments, and organizations having statewide reach providing mentoring services.
