OJJDP FY 2013 Juvenile Indigent Defense National Clearinghouse: This program supports the improvement of juvenile indigent defense across the nation. It will provide a broad range of activities and services to improve the overall level of systemic advocacy, improve the quality of juvenile indigent defense representation, and ensure professional and ongoing technical support to the juvenile indigent defense bar. We anticipate that this program will be authorized by Sections 221-223 of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDP Act) of 1974, 42 U.S.C. §§ 5631─5633.

Additional Information on Eligibility
Eligible applicants are limited to nonprofit and for-profit organizations (including tribal nonprofit and for-profit organizations), and institutions of higher education (including tribal institutions of higher education). For-profit organizations must agree to forgo any profit or management fee. OJJDP welcomes joint applications from two or more eligible applicants; however, one applicant must be clearly indicated as the primary applicant (for correspondence, award, and management purposes) and the others indicated as coapplicants.
