OJJDP FY 2021 Second Chance Act Youth Offender Reentry Program: This program furthers the Department's mission by reducing the number of crimes committed by people under community supervision while promoting the fair administration of justice and advancing public safety. The Second Chance Act Youth Offender Reentry Program encourages collaboration between state agencies, local government, and community- and faith-based organizations to address the challenges that reentry and recidivism reduction pose for moderate to high-risk juvenile offenders returning to their communities from juvenile residential or correctional facilities. This solicitation has two categories—Category 1: Youth Offender Reentry Program and Category 2: Community-Based Youth Reentry Program.
