Outreach and Communication for Migratory Bird Conservation in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta, Alaska: The US Fish and Wildlife Service, Alaska Region intends to award a single source financial assistance grant agreement as authorized by Migratory Bird Treaty Act, 16 U.S.C. §703 et seq.; Fish and Wildlife Act, 16 U.S.C. §742 et seq.; Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act, 16 U.S.C. §§661-666 to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. This notice is not a request for proposals and the Government does not intend to accept proposals. Funds are available to increase awareness about shorebird conservation and facilitate community-based conservation. Specifically, applicants must be able to (1) develop, deliver, and measure outcomes of culturally relevant outreach activities and materials tailored for two grade levels within at least one school within each of four communities on the Yukon_Kuskokwim Delta; and (2) document local knowledge, perceptions, and emerging conservation efforts within communities.
