Peace Journalism Project: The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan is pleased to announce an open competition for eligible organizations to submit applications for a project to carry out media activities that support the current peace process and future reconciliation efforts. PAS seeks proposals for a project that will support current peace and reconciliation efforts through 1) developing media fact-checking capacity, 2) enhancing peace reporting and public outreach on the peace process, and 3) strengthening provincial media organizations.PAS intends to issue an award for a period of 24 months (base period) with the option for one additional 12-month period.
