Preserving Forest Ecosystems: Three (3) AmeriCorps members will assist GRSM staff with resource management activities including monitoring and treating hemlocks, controlling exotic plants, native plant seed harvest and propagation, restoring native grasslands and wetlands, planting native plants, and forest health inventory and mapping. They will assist with education programs, leading volunteer groups and other resource management projects as needed and will be provided with educational and training opportunities.
