Project to Test a Predesigned Data Warehouse Model: An OCSE/state data warehouse work group has developed a model data warehouse which requires a field test before recommending its widespread use. This model is built on data from our 157 report form and states may add data from other OCSE forms, and other sources and its value is in its potential analytic power and economy of reuse by other states. This grant would fund a state to analyze, prototype or test the integration of the data warehouse with the state CSE system. Results of these grants would help other states considering the development of a data warehouse to determine if this common data warehouse model can be used in their state and help them better estimate the costs and resources needed to develop a data warehouse solution.
