To provide comprehensive support for community and facility-based malaria and HIV/AIDS services and capacity building and collaborative partnership with municipal and provincial authorities in support of the national strategic plans for malaria and HIV/AIDS. It also aims to enhance the impact of USG assistance by focusing resources on those regions with the greatest disease burden. The overall objective of this health intervention is to contribute to attainment of the USAID Mission’s two complementary Development Objective’s: health status and wellbeing of the population improved; and responsiveness to citizens’ needs strengthened.
