Projects to Support Collaborations with Veterans Affairs: This funding opportunity is offered to support collaborations between IV-D agencies and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) by providing child support services for parents who supported the Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom effort are now homeless or at-risk of being homeless as well as other veterans who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness and have unresolved child support issues are welcome. In addition, in keeping with the VA goal to end homelessness for veterans in five years, projects that serve veterans with this collaborative effort should contribute to better child support outcomes.
