Reducing Stigma Related to Drug Use in Human Service Settings (R21 Clinical Trial Optional): One of the most important barriers to the provision and utilization of HIV prevention and care services is stigma, which is defined as an identity marked by disgrace, disapproval or shame, which often leads to discriminatory treatment by others. This RFA supports formative research to support development of stigma reduction interventions, as well as pilot or feasibility studies of new or adapted interventions to reduce stigma that impedes the provision and utilization of HIV care and prevention services.
