Request For Information (rfi): Data And Research Needs For Climate-informed Long-term Hydropower Operation And Resource Planning: REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI): DATA AND RESEARCH NEEDS FOR CLIMATE-INFORMED LONG-TERM HYDROPOWER OPERATION AND RESOURCE PLANNING The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), Water Power Technologies Office (WPTO) is requesting information and feedback on the data and research needs that may support the broader hydropower community (i.e., system operators, technology developers, facility owners, regulators, researchers, and other stakeholders) in developing and implementing climate change-informed practices for sustainable long-term hydropower operation and resource planning. The requested information will help WPTO design future research and development (R&D) initiatives, tools, and datasets that support the community in addressing the risk of long-term climatic change on hydropower generation. This RFI is not accepting applications for financial assistance or financial incentives.
