Request for Information (RFI): Offshore Wind Transmission System Integration Research Needs: The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to solicit input from industry, academia, research laboratories, government agencies, and the public on research needs regarding offshore wind energy systems and their integration with the electric grid, as outlined in the RFI Document. This is solely a request for information and not a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA). EERE is not accepting applications.Respondents to this RFI may respond to one or more of the topics, or any number of the questions outlined in the RFI Document.Responses to this RFI must be submitted electronically to [email protected] no later than 5:00 pm (ET) on January 24, 2021. Responses must be provided as attachments to an email. This is a Request for Information only. EERE will not pay for information provided under this RFI and no project will be supported as a result of this RFI.
