Request for Information (RFI) for Improved Health Service Delivery activity (IHSD): The purpose of this Request for Information is to communicate with industry regarding the Government's upcoming requirement for the anticipated “Improved Health Service Delivery Activity.” The U.S. Agency for International Development Mission in Haiti (USAID/Haiti) represented by the Health Office is issuing this Request for Information in order to develop a design document that is clear, maximizes development impact, facilitates coordination with existing and planned USAID and other development partner programs, as well as aligns with the Government of Haiti's (GOH) priorities. The anticipated program's objective is to contribute to USAID/Haiti's goal to support a stable Haiti by investing in health services, supporting the Ministry of Health in the delivery of quality health services and strengthening the health system. IHSD embodies strategic evidence-based strategies for Ending Preventable Child and Maternal Death and gender-based violence, respect for women and advancing to Sustainable HIV Epidemic Control, using data to make informed decisions and building local capacity to implement integrated health programs. USAID values ideas and information provided by industry and seeks their inputs. Given the critical nature of this activity, USAID/Haiti desires an expanded approach that includes inputs from the broad community of private sector actors, public institutions, development partners, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), academia, and industry associations, concerned with advancing health and nutrition goals in Haiti. Responses to this RFI are NOT considered offers/applications and CANNOT be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract/agreement. USAID is not seeking technical and/or cost proposals/applications at this time. Please do not submit a full proposal/application as it will not be reviewed and will be discarded. The information contained within the RFI is intended solely as a thought-piece; ideas may change significantly during the activity's design and approval process. Responses to this RFI are strictly voluntary and USAID will NOT reimburse for the preparation of information submitted. This RFI is not funded and does not imply a commitment of funding from the U.S. Government. Submissions in response to this RFI will NOT be returned and respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the review. Respondents may, however, receive an electronic confirmation acknowledging receipt of their responses. No feedback or debrief will be provided on comments received.
