Strengthened Investigative Journalism in Natural Resources Management and Other Economic Governance Issues (REAJIR): The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications for a Fixed Amount Award (FAA) from qualified entities to implement the Strengthened Investigative Journalism in Natural Resources Management and Other Economic Governance Issues (REAJIR). Eligibility for this RFA is restricted to Local Mozambican Organizations (Local Entities) as defined below: “To be considered a “local” organization, an entity must: Be organized under the laws of the recipient country; Have its principal place of business in the recipient country; Be majority owned by individuals who are citizens or lawful permanent residents of the recipient country; and/or Be managed by a governing body, the majority of who are citizens or lawful permanent residents of a recipient country. Please see Section D of the RFA for additional information. USAID intends to make one (1) award to the applicant who best meets the objectives of this funding opportunity based on the merit review criteria described in this RFA subject to a risk assessment. USAID is seeking to fund one local implementing partner to provide comprehensive, high quality, and cost-effective services to meet the activity objectives. Eligible parties interested in submitting an application are encouraged to read this RFA thoroughly to understand the type of program sought, application submission requirements and selection process.
