Student Internship and Job Creation: The Student Internship and Job Creation Initiative serves a dual purpose. The Student Internship portion of the technical assistance provides low-income designated credit unions an opportunity to introduce college students to credit unions and credit union operations. The Job Creation portion of the initiative allows low-income credit unions to provide training to individuals who are unemployed or underemployed in order to help them prepare for transition into the workforce.
