Study to Assess the Risk of Blood Borne Transmission of Classic Forms of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD): The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity is to enable the continuation of the active, nationwide study, begun in 1995, of recipients of blood products from donors who are subsequently diagnosed with classic forms of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) in order to assess the risk of possible transmission of such forms of CJD by blood transfusion.
