With this announcement, NEA/AC seeks to support multiple awards with the objective of building and increasing the institutional capacity of IHE in Iraq. Proposals will be structured to allow for these partnerships to be sustained for a sufficient period of time in order to produce meaningful institutional improvements. Institutional improvements may include: short-term and long-term institutional capacity and sustainability, including diverse and sustainable funding streams; progress toward formal accreditation with Iraqi and U.S. accrediting bodies; curriculum development and reform; professional skills development; and increased size and diversity of the student body. Please refer to the link to additional information to see the full NOFO and appendices.
