Supporting Efforts to Secure Justice for Sri Lanka: The Department of State's Office of Global Criminal Justice (J/GCJ) works to prevent atrocities, mitigate their effects, and foster justice and accountability to enhance respect for human dignity and stability worldwide. GCJ seeks to strengthen justice processes to redress atrocity crimes committed during armed conflict and under repressive regimes.
