Supporting and Improving the Chronic Kidney Disease Surveillance System in the United States: This award will build upon the previous CKD surveillance work to continue supporting, updating, and improving the CKD Surveillance System with relevant data sources and indicators and up-to-date data and trends, to enhance the CKD Surveillance System website with data updates, state-of-the-art technologies and visualization tools, and to assist CDC, prevention researchers, policy makers, medical practitioners, and states in developing and evaluating programs and policies to better prevent, detect, and manage CKD. NOFO goals are to:• Support, update, and improve the CKD Surveillance System in the United States https://nccd.cdc.gov/CKD/ (Component A), and• Support, update, and enhance the currently functional and interactive website application of the CKD Surveillance System https://nccd.cdc.gov/CKD/ (Component B). The recipients will have access to the current documentation and existing data in the system.
