Sustainable, Transformational and Accessible WASH Interventions (STAWI): USAID/Kenya and East Africa (USAID/KEA)'s Office of Economic Growth and Integration is in the process of designing a new activity to improve water security in areas of recurrent crises in Northern and Eastern Kenya. The purpose of this RFI is to provide industry and stakeholders an opportunity to review and comment on the technical approach and the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed approaches for achieving the goals and objectives, as well as suggest areas of enhancement in the Program Description Framework. General comments and feedback are appreciated and USAID/KEA would also like feedback on the following two questions that are broken down further in the Program Description Framework under attachment I. (1) What are the key risks, challenges, and/or omissions with the stated purpose and approach? Are there alternatives that would mitigate or alleviate these risks and challenges? (2) What, if any, changes would you make or lessons you would like to share to strengthen the approach? INSTRUCTIONS Responses to this RFI will only be accepted by e-mail to [email protected] and are due by the date stated on the cover page. Responses must be in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat formats and clearly labeled on all pages with the name of the organization responding and, “Response to RFI Sustainable, Transformational and Accessible WASH Interventions (STAWI)”.
