The Recipient is a member of the Student Conservation Association which was awarded Master Cooperative Agreement P15AC00031 allowing The Student Conservation Association to provide educational and work opportunities to young people so that they can gain a better understanding and appreciation of the NPS and its natural and cultural resources. Participating interns will gain experience in the principles and practices of natural and cultural resource preservation, historic maintenance, and interpretation. NPS staff will assist recipient in selecting projects, teaching new skills, and providing assistance and training in a range of cultural resource preservation, maintenance, and interpretive projects.
