The North Caucasus Youth Exchange Program: The objective of this project is support the transition from Humanitarian Assistance and Conflict Mitigation to Relief and Recovery in the North Caucasus, particularly Chechnya, Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachayevo-Cherkessia, Adygeia, Stavropolski Krai, and North Ossetia. The project will be focused on building trust between program participants and their engagement in capacity building and training to promote peace at the community-level and demonstrate the impact of the peace process. The program will work to achieve these ends both by addressing the underlying conditions that cause conflict, as well as building skills in program participants to resolve conflict and engage with their communities as constructive citizens of Russia.
