Training Seminars on Safe Medicine: Substandard, spurious, falsely labeled, falsified and counterfeit medical products can result in treatment failure, causing adverse effects, health hazards and even leading to death. The purpose of this grant is to spread the safe medicine message further and faster in India by providing focused training workshops on this topic specifically for health care workers. The grant recipient will conduct a series of training workshops in a number of different hospitals and a number of different communities. The training will include information about spurious drugs, client counseling techniques, and safe medicine to health workers.
