Tribal Colleges and Universities Project (TCUP): The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Office of Education solicits proposals to this Cooperative Agreement Notice (CAN) for the NASA Tribal Colleges and Universities Project (hereafter referred to as TCUP). The goal of this project is to enhance NASA's effectiveness in providing educational and research opportunities for tribal colleges and universities which will increase their graduates' participation in NASA and the Nation's STEM workforce. The TCUP effort is a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) educational grant and mentoring program specifically for tribal colleges and universities. NASA will achieve its goals for this project through activities such as capacity building, infrastructure development, internships, fellowships, research experiences, outreach, and information exchange.It is anticipated that approximately up to 8 awards, ranging from $1.4M per year over a 3-year period of performance may be made under this CAN. NASA may elect to make full or partial awards. NASA expects to award the Cooperative Agreements under this announcement pursuant to the authority of 1260.12(d) of the NASA Grant and Cooperative Agreement Handbook.
