Tribal Victim Services Micro-Grant Program: This program will develop new victim services in Alaska where they have not previously existed and expand existing victim services. Alaska's Tribal communities may use the micro-grants for a wide range of programs, activities, and services for victims of crime. These may include:· Conducting a victim services needs assessment;· Developing a strategic plan to create a victim assistance program;· Developing a victim assistance program; expanding services provided to victims;· Expanding populations served; and/or· Expanding types of crime addressed.Grantees may access training and technical assistance for program implementation.All Application materials are available at https://www.denali.gov/programs/tribal-victims-of-crime-program/All applications must be submitted to the Denali Commission at the address provided in the Application materials.

Additional Information on Eligibility
• Alaska's federally recognized Tribal governments and Alaska Native villages as determined by the Secretary of Interior. Tribe means any Alaska Indian Tribe, band, nation, or other organized group or community including any Alaska Native village or regional or village corporation as defined in or established pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (85 Stat. 688), 43 USC §§ 1601 et seq.) which is recognized as eligible for the special programs and services provided by the United States because of their status as Alaska Native and/or American Indian persons.Or• An organization that is acting as the authorized designee of a federally recognized Alaska Indian Tribe and/or Alaska Native village or regional corporation may apply. And• The applicants can not appear on the list in Appendix A. Alaska Tribal organizations, village corporations, or Tribal governments listed in Appendix A are not eligible to apply for this NOFO as they received these funds in either FFY2018 or 2019.
