U.S. Embassy Abuja PDS Annual Program Statement: The U.S. Embassy Abuja, Public Diplomacy Section of the U.S. Department of State is pleased to announce an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out programs that align with U.S. mission goals in Nigeria. Please follow all instructions below. Priority Region: Northern Nigeria Region with the following states as priority: Adamawa, Jigawa, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Niger, Taraba, Yobe, Sokoto and Zamfara Program Objectives: The Public Diplomacy Section invites proposals for programs that strengthen ties between the U.S. and Nigeria, highlights shared values and promotes bilateral cooperation. All programs must include an American cultural element, or connection with American expert/s, organization/s, or institution/s in a specific field that will promote increased understanding of U.S. policy and perspectives.
