USAID Scholars Activity: Conducting five recruitment cycles, to award a minimum of 500 full tuition scholarships to students with high financial need. For each cohort, the applicant will seek to achieve a gender balance with at least 50% of scholarship recipients being female and attract at least 10% scholarship recipients with disabilities (recommended 15%). Applicants will promote gender balance and geographic diversity in the distribution of the scholarships. However, there need not be the same number of scholarships awarded to each governorate, especially if financially needy students are not identified in those governorates. If the targeted number of scholarships is not met in any of the recruitment cycles, the recipient can make it up in the following cycle/s.
